MANUFACTURING ROUTE

From requirements to delivery.

The product and project specification define the detailed route. These are the main manufacturing and inspection stages.

  1. 01

    Requirements & technical review

Review the valve family, service conditions, materials, ends and operation, together with drawings, inspection and delivery documents.

  2. 02

    Incoming materials & components

Check identification, specification, quantity, supplier and material records; complete and record the required incoming inspection.

  3. 03

    Component machining

Control dimensions, mating surfaces and connections against drawings, with checks linked to the manufacturing route.

  4. 04

    In-process inspection

Check dimensions, surfaces and identification. Where welding applies, retain the specified consumable, operation and inspection records.

  5. 05

    Preparation & assembly

Check component configuration and cleanliness, complete valve assembly and record the inspection results.

  6. 06

    Pressure & seat testing

Define shell, seat and applicable backseat tests for the valve construction and agreed specification, and record the results.

  7. 07

    Final inspection & protection

Review appearance, dimensions, identification, coating and protection against the product and project documents.

  8. 08

    Packing & documentation

Check products, quantities, identification and packing information, then assemble the agreed conformity and inspection documents.
